It has been 6 weeks since the closing of schools and everyone needs to be applauded for juggling everything they are doing whilst in lockdown. As a school, we are here to support children and families, so please use the contact details below if you have any concerns or need any advice. If you wish to share some kind messages or photographs of the things the children have been up to, you can send them to the school email or directly to the class teacher or Mr Evans.
We continue to provide an emergency childcare facility for critical workers. If you need any advice regarding this service, please contact the school.
We will await news from the Government who will decide when schools open. We will keep you informed via text and the website.
The wellbeing of our children and families remains our priority. This time will be affecting everyone differently and our overriding message continues to be stay safe, stay well and stay happy. A reminder of where you can find suggestions for home learning activities. For Nursery through to year 4, go to the ‘Classrooms’ and ‘Home Learning’ pages on the school website http://www.waunarlwydd.swansea.sch.uk/. Years 5 and 6 will find suggestions on the OneDrive by logging into their HWB accounts. Please remember that these are suggested activities and are not intended to cause any stress. If you have any concerns about home learning, including access to devices or wifi, please let us know.Free school meals will be delivered every Monday. If you have any concerns regarding FSM please contact the school or Mr Evans.
You should all have received the email address of your child’s teacher if you need any advice regarding home learning. The school phone line is open during school hours and the school’s main email address can be found on the website. Alternatively, if you have any concerns at all, you can contact Mr Evans directly: evansj737@hwbcymru.net
