#SAFEAS
22nd May 2018
“We have a right to be safe” UNCEF article 19
You asked we provide you with more information about what your child is doing in school and the progress of school priorities in general. In response to this and in addition to the ‘Celebration Week’ scheduled for next half term we plan to hold a series of ‘special events’ evenings starting on Tuesday May 22nd at 6pm, with something we’ve titled #SAFEAS.
With a focus on Pupil Well-being in general and eSafety in particular, the event will give you the chance to find answers to the following questions:
- How can I help my child stay safe online?
- What does it mean to be a Pioneer School?
- What is the school doing to support my child develop and sustain positive relationships / friendships?
- Sex and Relationships Education (SRE): what will my child be learning about in class?
- The new data protection regulations (GDPR): what difference will these make for me?
We hope you can join us for this next Tuesday and look forward to the chance to talk these important issues through with you.
